First Annual Gainey Family YMCA Battle of the Bands benefit concert. Friday, June 13th, 2008; doors open at 04:30pm, show starts at 05:00pm.
Tags: battle, band, bands, music, rock, entertainment, performance, concert, show, event First place cash prize of $250, runner-up $100. Perform in front of an audience. Help raise awareness for YMCA youth and teen programs and events. All proceeds will be donated to the Gainey Family YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. Looking for Amatuer bands and musicians (ages 14-21) to compete and entertain. Must provide own sound equipment. Rainout date: Saturday, June 14th at 02:00pm. Spectator fee: Adult - $5 donation, student w/picture ID - $3 donation. Registration for bands will be until May 30th, 2008.
